Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild 5x7 Show (Fund Raiser) - December 2-18, 2022 - 34 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY 12498
The Kleinert/James Center for the Arts’ 5 by 7 Show is one of Woodstock’s premier events, showcasing artists from the Hudson Valley and beyond. The show is open to everyone and we accept and display all submissions. Works are exhibited anonymously, a fun way to give equal voice to all! 5 by 7 artworks are sold for $150 each. This is a major fundraising event for Byrdcliffe. By contributing a small work you help to support high-quality programming in the arts, including exhibitions and performances.

Elephant Art Shop and featured gift items created in the Hudson Valley. Locally made glass, jewelry, greeting cards, textiles, ceramics, wood, products, prints, paintings, home, decorating items and more. Partnering with The Art Effect this year to bring even more to this incredible event including Ashley’s Bakeshop, an organic farm fresh bakery using local and organic products in the Hudson Valley, refreshments and entertainment.

Jambo, I am Samantha Taylor, Founder of Elephant Art Shop – a diverse portfolio of wildlife, community and environmental conservation watercolor paintings, greetings cards and T-shirts inspired by my impressionable childhood in Kenya, East Africa. My mission is to advocate urgency for addressing environmental and humanitarian challenges through creative expression and empowerment. The elephant is a mascot signifying strength and optimism, protecting their tusks, survival for the future and overcoming climate change. There are many lessons we can learn from the lucky elephant, loyalty to its family, and working together to protect and restore resilient communities for our future generations.
